Stryker 1788 4K Camera
Description
The 1788 Platform also features an image processing technology upgrade that they call “Tone Mode” that solves for poorly lit areas in the surgical field. This mode is meant to even the light distribution between the foreground and less well-lit background areas and can be applied in a graduated manner.
The fluorescence mode has also had upgrades including enhanced display of the fluorescent signal in the color overlay mode (green signal over the bright light image). Additionally, in this FDA submission, the platform has been cleared for use with CYTALUXTM (pafalocianine), a fluorescent drug that targets folate receptors which are overexpressed in ovarian cancer.
The advances in this technology enables a broader range of clinical applications and enhance additional specialties, including urology, neurology, and ear, nose and throat, according to Stryker.
